Lemon Myrtle 

Lemon myrtle has powerful antimicrobial and antifungal properties. It is also an excellent vegan source of calcium and contains antioxidants, lutein, vitamin E, zinc and magnesium.

Australian lemon myrtle is an exceptional plant, still relatively unknown but highly prized for its intense fragrance and beneficial properties. This lemon-scented leaf is regarded as the queen of Australian herbs thanks to its distinct lemony flavour and exceptional nutritional properties. It pairs beautifully with roast chicken, fish or any dessert.

Native to Australia (mainly Queensland), it has been used for centuries by Aboriginal peoples. Lemon myrtle is characterised by its green leaves, which are very rich in essential oils, and a very powerful lemony scent (even stronger than that of a standard lemon) with hints of verbena and eucalyptus. It is most commonly used either fresh or dried.
